Zambia has done well with the policies, strategic plan and attention to the first 1000 days. Has there been any tracking done on the Linkages between the different government sectors attending to the index vulnerable clients?

Zambia does indeed have a strong policy and written programme environment right now, which is good to see- the challenge, as always, is in getting policy implemented!
Our work in the Stories of Change project has tracked coordination between sectors at policy level, and followed this down to coordination at district level. Zambia is ahead of many other countries in this intersectoral coordination at planning stage- but what is needed now is convergence between sectors on the ground, to make services from all sectors accessible to nutritionally vulnerable populations.
The brief summarizing this work is available on the website, and watch this space for longer papers coming soon, which explore Zambian policy and intersectoral coordination further!
