We are investigating the operational features that enhance, or detract from, quality service delivery
To do this we are:
a) Using data from evaluation platforms in Ethiopia and Bangladesh, and from IFPRI-J- PAL Bihar study, conduct in-depth analyses of the role of training and supportive supervision of health and nutrition workers for delivering nutrition services.
b) Examine the potential for social accountability mechanisms and social mobilization to improve the quality of service delivery and the inclusiveness of coverage (MNCS Initiative of GoB/UNICEF in Bangladesh. This will link to our work on an enabling environment for nutrition and will address our three cross-cutting themes of governance, inclusion and fragility.
