The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) is the only international organisation working at scale on the intersections between nutrition, agricultural development, and social protection. IFPRI leads the Transform Nutrition Research Programme Consortium
IFPRI’s Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division is known for its high-quality impact evaluations of nutrition, agriculture, health, and social protection programmes; its gender and intra-household analyses; multidisciplinary teams; innovative approaches to research; and several pioneering regional research-policy networks. IFPRI has regional offices in New Delhi, Addis Ababa, and Dakar, and country strategy support programmes in Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Dhaka. IFPRI leads the Transform Nutrition Research Programme Consortium, coordinating research and uptake activities, capacity development, and monitoring and evaluation. IFPRI hosts Transform Nutrition’s CEO Stuart Gillespie, and Catherine Gee; as well as research associates. IFPRI’s agriculture, nutrition, and health research within Transform Nutrition is part of its contribution to the CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (A4NH).
