In March all 10 Transform Nutrition 2016 Champions were offered media and advocacy training by Save the Children. We were delighted that five were able to make it to London to take part. They joined around 10 key Save the Children international personnel and took part in an intensive 3-day training programme, during which they heard  from expert media trainers and were given a chance to share their own examples of good practice.

Christine Muyama and Manaan Mumma blogged about their experience and said “Following this excellent week of collaboration with fellow nutrition advocates we feel equipped with new skills on how to develop new, actionable strategies and targets and how to engage the media”.

Basanta Kumar Kar also blogged saying that “The training sessions in London provided numerous tips for messages and opportunities for stakeholder alignment so we can fight malnutrition together.”
